Patron Groups are created based on defined patron group definitions. After selecting a group definition, which dictates the rules of the group’s formation, an administrator can create a group and add patrons to the group. Refer to the Patron Group Definitions section for more information about defining patron group templates.

The Patron Groups grid and Display group information drop-down menu allow a user to scroll through the patron group definitions and display each group based on the selected definition. With a definition selected, an existing group can be edited or a new group can be created.
