Forms

Use the Forms page (accessed via Setup > Web > Forms) to create and edit Forms for patrons.

A Form consists of a set of fields and menus displayed to patrons in the GET mobile app. A patron accesses the Form and completes the included questions, allowing an institution to gather useful information about the patron’s needs, preferences, or institution status.

Form Access for Patrons

Users restrict patron Form access by setting a date range when configuring the Form definition. When the date range is defined, patrons will only have access to complete the Form during this time.

GET Mobile App Housing Dashboard

In the Housing Dashboard section of the CBORD GET mobile app, patrons will see a list of Terms available to them. By selecting the current Term, any applicable Forms will be displayed. Patrons can fill out a Form and submit it or save their progress, if necessary. From the Dashboard, an in-progress Form can be re-accessed and completed.

Attachments

In the Housing Dashboard, patrons can upload files to their patron record in ResCenter. After a Term is selected, there is an Upload Attachments option under the Forms tab. Clicking the + Add icon displays the Attachment Form. The following options are available:

     File Type - Patrons can select a File Type. A File Type describes the type of attachment. File types are defined in Setup > Patron > Attachment Types.

     Attachment Notes - The Attachment Notes field allows a patron to enter notes about the attachment.

     Image Preview - Once the attachment is uploaded, a preview image of the file is displayed.

     Choose a File - Tapping Choose a File allows the patron to browse files on their device. The maximum file size is 10 MB. The following file extensions are supported:

.pdf

.doc

.docx

.jpeg

     Submit - Once the file is select, clicking Submit uploads the file to ResCenter.
