The Family tab is used to track family members who live with a patron. Each family has a host patron and one or more family members. The Family tab will display all members of the family when viewing the host patron or any patron that is a member of the family.
Users can add a family member to a host patron using two methods. New patrons can be created and added as family members, or existing patrons can be added as family members. When adding a new patron as a family member, the family member is also added as a patron in ResCenter. New family members are assigned ID numbers, just like full patrons.
Note: Family members may not be members of more than one family. A family host may not be a member of another family.
