The Manage Terms page is used to define Term definitions for use throughout many areas in ResCenter and Odyssey HMS. In both systems, Terms are used in the following ways:
•Users can select a Term to set start and end dates when entering attribute values or creating assignments.
•Advanced Find and other modules allow users to select Term dates when displaying transactions.
•In most areas where users can select start and end dates, there is also an option to select dates by choosing a Term.
•Patron Advanced Find allows users to find patrons by their active Term status.
•When selecting a Term in the patron module, the calendar displays information about the patron for the Term’s date range.
