Facility Types are used to define each type of facility—such as a Building, Suite, or Room—at an institution. Once Facility Types are defined, they can be used in the Facilities module when creating a Facility. Several Facility Types can be used together to make a Facility Label (a unique identifier for every possible facility at an institution.) Users may also perform an Advanced Find search to find patrons or facilities by Facility Type.
