If staff knows that a resident room inspection is not going to take place, the inspection can be canceled so that the resident inspection will not continue to show up in the lists and counts. Use the following procedure to cancel a resident room inspection from the Resident Room Inspections page accessed from the Inspections section of the Facilities menu:
Note: Pending inspections canceled in error can be cleared by clicking Reset next to the appropriate canceled inspection in the Resident Room Inspections List grid.
1. Search for the room inspection that you want to cancel and click Cancel . The Resident Inspection Cancel Reason window is displayed.
2. Enter the reason why the resident room inspection is being canceled and click Save. The Canceled resident room inspection successfully message is displayed.
Canceled inspections are not counted in the Home page Resident Room Inspections statistics or on reports.
