Set the Template Items Display Order

The display order defines the order in which items appear when room inspections are performed. The order defaults to the order in which you add the items. Use the following procedure to set the template items display order:

Note: When you add an inventory template, the Set Display Order button is enabled on the Add Inventory Template page after you save the record.

1.  Select Room Inspection > Inventory > Inventory Templates from the Setup > Maintenance menu. The Inventory Templates page is displayed.

2.  Search for the template for which you want to set the items display order.

3.  In the Inventory Templates grid, click Select next to the appropriate template. The View Inventory Template page is displayed.

4.  Click Set Display Order. The Set Template Items Display Order window is displayed.

5.  Select an inventory type from the top pane. The Up and Down buttons in the top portion of the window are enabled as appropriate (that is, the Up button is not enabled if you select the first inventory type in the list nor is the Down button enabled if you select the last inventory type in the list). The Order by Name button is also enabled.

6.  Click the Up and Down buttons to change the order of the inventory types. Click the Order by Name button to order the items in the bottom pane in name order (alphabetically).

7.  Select an item in the bottom pane and use the Up, Down, and Order by Name buttons to change the item display order.

8.  Click Save.

9.  Click Close to return to the Inventory Templates page.
