Use the following procedure to search for a patron in the Conversations function:

1.  Select Conversations from the Communications section of the Patron menu. The Conversations page is displayed.

2.  In the Search Patrons field, enter all or part of a patron name. Search results will automatically be displayed in a drop-down window.

3.  Select a patron and hit <ENTER>.

On a mobile device, double-tap on a patron’s name to select the patron.

After Searching for a Patron

If previous messages were sent to or from the patron, the messages will be displayed in the current message window (middle pane). Otherwise, the message window will be blank.

When using Conversations in a full-size browser window, the patron’s name and ID number will be displayed in the patron information window in the right pane. On a mobile device, only the previous messages window (left pane) and current message window (middle pane) will be displayed.
