If a patron requests a housing office as a proxy, a ResCenter user can perform the proxy activity via a link on the patron’s profile in ResCenter. The user will be able to access the patron’s MyResCenter Web page and perform any functions to which the patron has access.
A ResCenter user must have access rights (via the Patron.HousingOfficeProxy role) to act as a proxy. Refer to the Security section for more information on user access rights.
Note: A patron’s MyResCenter Web page is configured according to the patron’s Patron Type. A different MyResCenter Web page can be configured for each Patron Type in the Odyssey HMS UI. Refer to the HMS WebPatron section of the Odyssey HMS Help for more information.
