If any of the judicial fields are displayed as a column in the find results, the find only returns patrons who have at least one incident during the find date range. It is not necessary for a patron to have events attached to the incident (when using the JudicialPatronIncidentEvent category), violations (when using the JudicialPatronViolation category), or sanctions (when using the JudicialPatronSanction category).
