Odyssey Reader App Navigation

Launching Odyssey Mobile

From the desktop screen of an Android mobile device, launch the Odyssey Reader app:

Status

The status notification at the top of the app will indicate the connectivity status of the device.

Status: Ready – This status indicates the mobile device and card reader are connected and available for transactions.

Status: Card Reader Error – This status indicates a card reader is detected but the app is not configured to read it.

Status: Card Reader Not Connected – This status indicates that the card reader is not currently connected to the mobile device.

Navigation Menu

The following menu navigation options are available in the CBORD Odyssey Reader app:

     Change Settings – Launches the Card Reader Settings page. In the Settings page, use the Android’s Back icon to return to ResCenter. Tap a field to select it for configuration.

     Go to Home Page – Navigates to the ResCenter home page or login page.

     Select a Bluetooth Device – Scans for available Bluetooth devices that can be used with the Android mobile device. The current selected device will be listed as ACTIVE.

     Reset App – Reinitializes the card reader and returns the user to the ResCenter home page. This action does not alter any configured settings.

     Send Log Report – Sends the device log to any specified email address. The log report could be requested by CBORD Support if there is an issue that requires troubleshooting.
