Use the following procedure to delete an asset type:
Note: Only asset types that are not currently in use can be deleted.
1. From the Inventory section of the Facilities menu, select Asset Types. The List of Asset Types grid is displayed.
2. If necessary, search for an asset type.
3. Click Delete next to the asset type you want to delete. A confirmation message is displayed.
4. Click OK. The Asset type successfully deleted message is displayed.
