Criterion Properties Overview

The following table lists information about the columns and options that appear in the List of Notes grid under the Notes tab on the Patron page.

Field

Description

Name

The name for the set of criteria expressions. The name will appear in the criteria library and AA batch.

Option

Description

Delete

Click Delete to remove a selected statement.

All

Click All to change a statement group’s configuration to “True if All of”. The statement will only be true if all criterion is true.

Any

Click Any to change a statement group’s configuration to “True if Any of”. The statement will be true if any of the criterion is true

Up

Click Up to move a statement up in the list. Alternatively, statements can be dragged and dropped anywhere in the list.

Candidate

Select Candidate to compare a Candidate’s Attribute to another Candidate’s Attribute.

For example, selecting Department [=] Department would require that the two candidate’s Department attribute values match, regardless of what the exact attribute value is.

Facility

Select Facility to compare a Candidate’s Attribute to a Facility’s Attribute.

For example, selecting Department [is one of] Department would require that the candidate’s Department attribute value be one of the Facility’s attribute values.

Value

Select Value to compare a Candidate’s Attribute to a Value.

For example, selecting Department [=] Engineering would require that the candidate’s Department attribute value be Engineering.

Date

Select Date to compare a Candidate’s Attribute to a Date.

For example, selecting Application Date [<] 09/01/2014 would require that the candidate’s Application Date attribute value be less than (before) 09/01/2014.

Add

After configuring a statement, select a part of the criterion tree and click Add to add the statement to the selected spot.

Modify

Select an existing statement in the criterion tree and click Modify to edit the statement.
