Add a Note to a Financial Transaction

Use the following procedure to add a note to a patron’s financial transaction:

1.  From the FT menu, select Account Journal.

2.  In the Accounts grid, select an account.

3.  If necessary, filter the Transactions grid.

4.  In the Transactions grid, click View Transaction next to a transaction.

5.  Click Note. A Transaction Notes window will be displayed.

Any previous notes for the transaction will be displayed. The date and time each note was created, along with the ResCenter user who created it, will also be displayed.

6.  Click Add Note.

7.  Enter note text in the available field, and click Save.
